Description
We begin our journey to the picturesque viewpoint of Chirche, where we’ll take a brief pause to take photos and enjoy a delicious local coffee known as “el barraquito.” Then, we head towards a 500-year-old lava flow from the “Boca Cangrejo” volcano, from where you can enjoy views of the neighboring island of La Gomera.
We continue our tour by delving into the Teide National Park, reaching a spot where you’ll have the opportunity to take a short walk to the crater of the Sámara volcano. We will also pass by the ancient peak of Teide, known as “El Pico Viejo,” with its extensive lava field formed just over 200 years ago. After that, we arrive at the famous landscape of the Roques de García.
On the other side of the Roques, at the Parador de Cañadas del Teide, you’ll find a café and a charming souvenir shop. In the village of Vilaflor, you’ll discover the oldest and largest pine tree known as “El Pino Gordo,” which will be our last stop for photos.
