Description

We will pick you up by bus at your bus stop and start the route to the Teide National Park, making a short stop in the village of Vilaflor. This charming village, located in the highest part of the island and surrounded by pine forests near Mount Teide, is part of the highest municipality in Spain.

Next, we will make a stop at Roques de García. Here, you’ll marvel at otherworldly landscapes, breathe the fresh air of Spain’s highest peak, walk through volcanic lava and feel small in the face of the breathtaking surroundings. Exploring the area is truly a spectacle, offering breathtaking views from every angle.

The Caldera del Teide, with a diameter of approximately 17 km, supports Pico del Teide at 3,718 metres, making it the highest mountain in Spain and the third highest volcano in the world.

Then, we will arrive at the highest cable car in Spain, the Teleférico, where you will have the option to ascend to the summit of the volcano. Teide, considered the most emblematic natural monument of the Canary Islands, is undoubtedly a majestic and unforgettable wonder of nature. The ascent in the cable car is optional and is not included in the price of the excursion.

Finally, we conclude the tour and take you back to your hotel, descending through the village of Chio, bordered by Alcalá in the coastal area and to the north by the village of Tamaimo, belonging to the municipality of Santiago del Teide.

Stops:

  • Vilaflor (to go to the toilet or enjoy a coffee/buy something).
  • Viewpoint Zapatilla de la Reina
  • Roques de García

If the cable car is operational, those who choose not to ascend will be taken to Minas de San José and the Bambi restaurant for breathtaking views of Teide. If the cable car is closed, everyone will visit Minas de San José and the Bambi restaurant.
