Description

Immerse yourself in a unique and sustainable experience with Emociónate Tours on our exclusive excursion to La Palma. Known as the “Isla Bonita”, La Palma will captivate you with its stunning natural beauty, rich culture and tranquil atmosphere. Our tour, designed for nature and culture lovers, will take you through volcanic landscapes, ancient forests and picturesque villages, giving you a deep and authentic insight into the island.

The departure of the excursion to La Palma from Tenerife will be at 8:30 am from Los Cristianos to arrive at the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma at 11:00 am.

The first stop will be in the capital, where you will have free time (30 minutes approximately), so that you can discover some of the most emblematic places such as: El Barco de la Virgen, El Castillo de Santa Catalina, and the typical Balcones.

The next stop will be the Mirador de la Concepción. It is located in the highest part of the Caldereta volcano “declared natural space” where you will be able to see the crater and the capital of the beautiful island. You will continue to the tunnel of time, seeing how the vegetation on the island changes, and then you will go south west, entering the area affected by the Cumbre Vieja volcano. The next stop will be in the exclusion zone of the Tacande district where you will have a first view of the volcano and then you will go to Tazacorte, where you will see the youngest lava flows in Spain. Lunch (fish or vegetarian menu) will be served in one of the typical restaurants of the area at about 14:30.

After lunch you will go up from the port of Tazacorte to see one of the neighbourhoods affected by the eruption. The last stop will be at the MIRADOR DE TAJUYA where you will have the time to observe, in total safety at a distance of 2 km, the last volcano of the Canary Islands which is now called Tajogaite. The images will be impressive! You will return to the port around 16:30 to leave at 17:00 and arrive at the port of Los Cristianos at 19:30.

Duration

The excursion has a total duration of 11 hours, including transfers and time to explore.
