Description
Dive into a unique experience discovering La Palma, known as the “Beautiful Island.” La Palma will captivate you with its stunning natural beauty, rich culture, and tranquil atmosphere. Our tour will take you through volcanic landscapes, ancient forests, and picturesque villages, offering you an in-depth and authentic view of the island.
The first stop will be in the capital, where you’ll have free time (approximately 30 minutes) to explore some of the most emblematic sites such as: El Barco de la Virgen, El Castillo de Santa Catalina, and the typical Balcones.
The next stop will be at the Mirador de la Concepción. You will continue towards the Tunnel of Time, observing how the vegetation changes on the island, before heading southwest into the area affected by the Cumbre Vieja volcano. The following stop will be in the exclusion zone of the Tacande neighborhood, where you’ll get an initial view of the volcano, and then head to Tazacorte to see the youngest lava flows in Spain.
After lunch at the port of Tazacorte, you’ll ascend to visit one of the neighborhoods affected by the eruption. The last stop will be at the MIRADOR DE TAJUYA, where you’ll have time to safely observe from a distance of 2 km the most recent volcano in the Canary Islands, now known as Tajogaite.
