To start our excursion from Tenerife to La Gomera, we will depart from Los Cristianos Port in Tenerife and take a ferry to San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island’s capital. Upon arrival, we will board a bus to visit our first stop: Valle de Hermigua. We will then continue through La Palmita before reaching Agulo. Here, you will have time to enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant and witness a live demonstration of “Silbo Gomero,” the island’s unique whistling language. After lunch, we will ascend to Garajonay National Park, a lush laurel forest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will make a special stop at Laguna Grande, where you can explore the surroundings of a place rumored to have been a gathering spot for ancient island witches. On our way back, we will admire the impressive Roque de Agando, a striking volcanic rock formation. Finally, we will return to San Sebastián, where you can see historic landmarks like Torre del Conde and Casa de Colón, linked to Christopher Columbus’ last stop before his voyage to the Americas. Then, we will take the ferry back to complete our Tenerife to La Gomera excursion.
